Physical complaints are the commonest reasons for seeking help from a health worker or doctor.
Many symptoms, such as fever or cough, can be explained as medical problems. However, there are some complaints for which it is often difficult to find any medical explanation. Examples of such
complaints are:
• headaches;
• aches and pains all over the body;
• chest pain;
• heart beating fast (palpitations);
• dizziness;
• low back pain;
• abdominal pain;
• difficulty in breathing.
